Monster on Nice Roof (2022) has been produced by John Marchant Gallery on the occasion of the exhibition The Horror Show! A Twisted Tale Of Modern Britain at Somerset House, which includes Jamie Reid’s Monster On Nice Roof painting from 1970. This image of suburban dread was originally produced as part of Reid’s unfinished Cat Book project. Monster On Nice Roof (2022) has heightened fluorescence in the colour combinations and is taken from a vintage colour Xerox in the Jamie Reid Archive.
